Starting September 4th, 2012we will begin offering private tutoring and help with homework for kids

(K thru 12) from elementary through high school in Math, Reading and Science at our meeting facility. Tutoring services will be offered by certified professionals with classroom experience. Kids under the age of 10 years have to be accompanied by an adult. **We also offer tutoring for College LevelEnglish, ESL, Developmental Writing, Developmental Math, Chemistry and Biology.

ABOUT MICON HOMEWORK HELPERS:

Our physical location is in Bedford, Texas and our program is designed to help students with their homework/ studies. Micon Homework Helpers is a private tutoring service and was born as a result of a series of discussions with parents and students. The majority of parents voiced that they did not have the time to dedicate to helping their kids with school work support and felt guilt over the situation. Similarly, a few students we had spoken to in the classrooms also voiced that they had great parents who just had to work a lot and as such could not and were not expected to help them academically.

Another popular need we found was that a lot of bilingual children and their parents also pointed out that the kids could not get the desired help from home because neither parents understood English. It was also emphasized that most after school tutoring programs were just too expensive. Basically, Micon Homework Helpers is here to address the needs of both parents and their students by providing much needed educational support at an affordable price. By utilizing our tutoring services parents can afford to get their kids that extra boost needed to confidently perform well at school.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:

Homework help/ tutoring is provided on a first- come -first- serve basis. During tutoring, we help kids by teaching new methods to solve problems as well as reinforce what was learned at school. We do not do your kids' homework; instead, we guide them on how to do their work to build their skills and confidence. The point is so that the child will be able to perform their task accurately on their own.

The tutoring services is on an hourly term and can be on an individual basis or in a group not to exceed 4 to 6 students.
